The north-eastern part of Vietnam is one of the least visited, but most beautiful and interesting areas of Vietnam. On this tour you will visit and go sailing in Ba Be Lake National Park, see spectacular waterfalls, impressive grottos and visit several ethnic minorities. You will see stunning nature during the entire trip and get in close contact with the local people and even be able to spend 1 night in a traditional wooden stilt house with the Tay minority people.

The north-western part of Vietnam is one of the most interesting and beautiful areas of South East Asia. Vietnam is home to 54 ethnic groups and the north-western part of the country is an exciting place to see the lives, customs and cultures of some of Vietnams ethnic minorities. In this part of the country the minorities still dress in their traditional colourful clothing especially the women.
Each minority group has its own distinct colour and style of dress. On the Northwest Jeep tour you will both do a minority trek and stay with some of the tribes in the Sapa area and go on a jeep tour through some of the country’s most spectacular scenery which is home to many distinct hill tribes. There will be a lot of time to stop at local markets and visit small minority villages rarely visited by other tourists.

After the jeep tour you will go with a small group of max. 14 persons on a boat ride in the emerald waters of Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay with the famous limestone formations, beautiful beaches and breathtaking grottos. You will visit Sung Sot Cave, Viet Hai Village and climb up to Hai Quan Peak (247 m.). Also, there will be lots of time to go swimming and to relax on the sun deck of the boat. The first night you sleep in a cabin on the boat and the next night in a 3 stars hotel in Cat Ba.
